WARRANTY
FiberBuilt Umbrellas, Inc. warranties our two piece fiberglass ribbed Market and Beach umbrellas, all wood umbrellas, as well as bases, cabanas and upholstery work for a period of one year, to the original purchaser, against defects in materials and workmanship. Additionally, the fiberglass support ribs are warranted for five full years. Our Prestige Collection Umbrellas (Augusta, Bambusa, Bridgewater, Guadua, Palm and Lucaya) are warranted for a period of five years, to the original purchaser, against defects in materials and workmanship. Fiberglass support ribs on all Prestige Collection umbrellas are also warranted for five full years. Wood rib breakage is not considered a defect in the material and is not warranted.
For warranty to apply, all umbrellas must be secured within bases of weights equal to or greater than those specified.
Though FiberBuilt Umbrellas have successfully passed wind tests up to 53 mph, FiberBuilt does not recommend allowing umbrellas to remain open when not in use or during inclement weather. Customer is responsible for taking the umbrellas down when winds reach unsafe conditions.
Normal care and maintenance of products is required to insure years of problem free use. Damaged umbrellas should immediately be taken out of service.
Should repairs be necessary within the warranty period, FiberBuilt Umbrellas, Inc. will replace or repair (at its discretion) the defective ribs or parts at no charge.
This warranty does not cover the umbrella pole, crank or tilt. This warranty does not cover any acts of God, abuse, misuse, or any vandalism incurred to the umbrella after purchase, nor does it cover customer’s own material. This warranty does not provide coverage or reimbursement for loss of use, time, inconvenience or other damages resulting from any defect in the product.
To file a warranty claim contact FiberBuilt Umbrellas’ Customer Service Department at 866-667-8668 to receive a return authorization number, packing directions and shipping instructions. No returns will be accepted without prior approval.
Return & Exchange
We work hard to satisfy out customers! We will accept returns of new, unused items within 30 days of the delivery for a refund. If there was an error on our part, we will pay the return shipping costs, otherwise we will charge the shipping and handling costs both ways. Please note additional 50% restocking fee will aplply for all custom products. Custom products are defined by having a selection of options, such as finish or fabric.. All returns need to be submitted via phone 888.862.1777 or via Contact Us form. You will be given credit for the total purchase price upon receipt and inspection of the product.
Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged product, you will have the option to refuse delivery and document specific damage that incurred to the product. You will have to notify us via a phone with details of the problem so that we can return or exchange your merchandise. If the damage is not discovered immediately at the time of the delivery, we allow 15 days after the delivery for customers to find the damage and send us a claim with supporting documentation and photos. We take up to 7 days to review and approve the claim. After the claim is approved, we will be sending customers free replacement parts for the damaged goods at no additional shipping costs.
